Eightfold expression of our faith. PART 1

1. BE JOYFUL! Make the choice to rejoice! You must have Joy before you can rejoice. Why? Because rejoicing is when you have happiness doubled. You literally have joy twice.  We are to "count it all joy when you fall into various trials knowing that the texting of your faith produces endurance."- James 1:2-3
"Rejoice IN THE LORD always: and an agin I say rejoice."- Phillippians 2

Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. (Habakkuk 3:17, 18 NKJV)

2. Pray without Ceasing. Connect with The Lord continually. Not of what is uninterrupted, but what is reoccurring.
-You need a continued awareness of His presence. Prayer isn't just talking... It's listening too. It's a CONVERSATION WITH GOD.
-Complete dependancy upon His enabling grace

3. In everything Give Thanks
Be thankful this is God's will for your life.

Benefits to being thankful:

-It keeps me continually aware of the Lords presence with Me.

-It motivates me to keep looking for Gods purposes.

-It motivates me to be more submissive to God.

-It amps up my faith, develops within me a stronger reliance on The Lord.

-It is essential for my Joy.

-It gives a lot more impact to my testimony and witness.

-It will Energize me.

Next week I will finish up the rest of the study with the final points. Thanks for reading this bible study, and I hope you enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to post here more often. :)

God Bless you all, Jade Knackstedt
